The Apple thieves

The story was developed with the main pupose to entertain children between 4-8 years old. I was still convinced it could be done through a deeper subject. The boy is about to get three new siblings when his father decided to let his new fiancé move into his home. The new brothers needs to learn how to share the room. It is a difficult task even for grown ups and their first and most primitive solution is to build a “wall” manifested in a red tejp that divides the room in two equal parts. Then the brothers starts to battle about gaining territory. Not until both of them realises they need to work together do the accept each other and tear down the wall.

Who stands up for Alvar

In partnership with researchers from Lund University, University of Gothenburg, and Södertörn University, Tottemo Production created the short film Who Stands Up for Alvar (2024), based on real-life case studies on moral stress in eldercare. RAN is a story about survival, justice, superstition, and the silence surrounding women’s experiences in history.

Who Stands Up for Alvar" is born from a deeply personal place. It is inspired by the quiet heroes of everyday life—the caregivers, single parents, and the elderly—who often go unnoticed and unappreciated in a society obsessed with efficiency and output. This story stems from the frustration of witnessing systemic neglect and the heartbreaking ripple effects it has on individuals and families. It is also a love letter to resilience, humour, and the human spirit’s ability to fight back against insurmountable odds.
